Routed is an iOS route-planning and route-optimization application. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Routed.

2. Information Collection

Routed is designed to minimize data collection. Route entries you type in the app are used to calculate optimized routes and mileage estimates. We do not require account creation to use core app functionality.

3. Location and Maps Data

Routed may request location permission to support map and route features. Route calculations rely on map services and geographic data providers to generate directions and distances.

4. Data Storage

Route input and calculated results are primarily processed on-device within the app workflow. Shared or exported content is created only when you initiate sharing/export actions.

5. Sharing and Export

When you use Share Route or Export Estimate, the generated text/file is sent only through the share destination you choose. Routed does not publish this data for you automatically.

6. IRS Deduction Estimate

IRS mileage deduction calculations in Routed are informational tools for planning purposes and are not tax advice. You are responsible for confirming eligibility, rates, and filing details.

7. Third-Party Services

Routing, mapping, and navigation handoff can involve third-party mapping providers based on your selected navigation destination.

8. Children’s Privacy

Routed is not intended to collect personal data from children and does not include social or account-profile features.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material updates will be reflected by revising the effective date shown above.
